From silent partner to clinical specialist.

STK has been designing and manufacturing mobile devices since 1993. For more than a decade, the company operated primarily as a white-label and original design manufacturing partner, developing mobile technology behind the scenes for major network operators and global brands.

While consumer-facing manufacturers competed for market visibility, STK concentrated on strengthening its engineering, product development and manufacturing capabilities, contributing to the successful sale of more than 3,000,000 smartphones worldwide.

Today, STK is stepping forward under its own name. Rather than returning to the traditional consumer smartphone market, the company is applying more than 30 years of mobile technology expertise to the decentralised clinical trials and life sciences sectors.

This direction has been shaped by the success of the STK X3 smartphone, a bespoke device designed and developed from the ground up for a leading clinical technology provider, subsequently deployed across multiple clinical research and life sciences organisations, with more than 200,000 devices used across clinical environments.
